Billboard Music Awards 2011: Kesha Can Sing Without Autotune. Really.

Ke$ha kinda sucks at winning awards — she walked away with um, zero of the few she was nominated for at the BMAs — but when it comes to performing, the girl definitely kills it. Last night we got to see her love for glitter and unicorns go to a whole new level, plus, we heard her sing without autotune! Really! She has a voice behind all that computer generated stuff! Not that she sounds like Mariah Carey, though, or anything…

Billboard Music Awards 2011: Nicki Minaj Shares the Stage With Britney Spears!

Nicki Minaj went home alone after last night’s Billboard Music Awards (we mean without awards, duh), but she performed with Britney Spears so, um, yeah, that’s way better than some piece of plastic anyway, right?! Nicki took the stage to sing “Super Bass” before tour-mate Brit joined her onstage for the “Till the World Ends” remix.

Billboard Music Awards 2011: Rihanna Suits Up! But Then…Strips Way Down

Rihanna looked, well, not at all like Rihanna on the Billboard Music Awards RC. wearing a very modest (yet still so sexy) white pantsuit. Except once she got inside the MGM Grand Hotel and on-stage to perform “S&M,” we totally recognized her again. Because she was wearing a white patent leather body suit. And chains. Yup, that’s the RiRi we all know and love!

Billboard Music Awards 2011: I “Just Can’t Get Enough” of The Black Eyed Peas. And Fergie’s Dress.

 

I saw lots of amazing performances at the Billboard Music Awards last night (RiRi and Britney was EPIC!), but the Black Eyed Peas, who went home with an award for Top Duo/Group, were truly one of our faves. Maybe it was Fergie’s light-up dress. Or the fact that they sung a medley of all our fave BEP tunes. Or that will.i.am sang into that weird microphone thing and made his voice sound like a computer. Regardless, it was amazing!
